We chased the texture of film and didn't stop at a filter. Film stock emulation, emulsion, halation, grain. Then we built our own glass: custom lenses written as Python scripts inside Fableform, so every frame bends light the way a real lens would. The result looks shot, not rendered, because every frame went through a camera. Ours just happened to be made of code.
